It covers two categories of data: information about you as our Customer, and business contact information ("Lead Data") that our Service surfaces from third-party and publicly available sources.

2. Information we collect

a) Information you provide to us

• Contact details when you book a demo or inquire about the Service (name, email, phone, company);
• Account information once you become a Customer (login credentials, company details, CRM connection settings);
• Billing information, which is collected and processed directly by Stripe on our behalf — we do not store full payment card details ourselves;
• Communications you send us (emails, call notes, support requests).

b) Information collected automatically

• Usage data (pages visited, searches run, features used, timestamps);
• Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, general location inferred from IP);
• Cookies or similar technologies used for basic site functionality and analytics.

c) Lead Data (business contact information)

Separately from Customer account data, the Service aggregates publicly available business information — such as business names, categories, addresses, phone numbers, public email addresses, and website/social links — from sources including public business directories and mapping services. This data pertains to third-party businesses being surfaced as potential leads, not to individual consumers, and is not collected directly from those businesses by us.

• CRM integrations: If you connect HubSpot, Zoho, or a similar tool, data you choose to export is sent to that third party under its own terms.
• Service providers: We may use hosting, analytics, or infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• Business transfers: If CaptivSite is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data retention

We retain Customer account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. Lead Data is refreshed and reviewed periodically; outdated or inaccurate records may be updated or removed as our data sources change.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate data;
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Cookies

We use a limited set of cookies necessary for the website and Service to function, plus basic analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Service functionality.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
